ANZAC Day Flypast 2021

The New Zealand Warbirds Association is based at Auckland's Ardmore Airport. It is from here each year that an ANZAC (Australian New Zealand Army Corp) Day memorial flight takes place. Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders "who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations" and "the contribution and suffering of all those who have served". As the Safety Manager for the New Zealand Warbirds Association, Phillip Stott, from ICARUS Aviation Safety was lucky enough to join the 2021 memorial flight from the rear seat of a WW2 P40 Kittyhawk.
