New Air Operator Certificate Issued for Northern Helicopter Rescue

Northern Rescue Helicopter Ltd (NRHL) is a joint venture between the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust and the Northland Emergency Services Trust, and is the contracted provider to the Ministry of Health & ACC for emergency air ambulance helicopter services in the northern region of Aotearoa New Zealand. On 2nd August 2021 the CAA issued a new Air Operator Certificate for the combined operation. From a regulatory perspective, this was the culmination of 12 months hard work by the project team, lead by Phillip Stott of ICARUS Aviation Safety.
